The very idea that controlling what we do is unique to one political side and not the other is the most ignorant, dumb fuck thing I have ever read. Organized, civil society depends on controlling actions whether by laws or civil torts. Don't kill, don't steal, don't inflict intentional emotional distress -- we set rules to dictate actions. Where the two parties differ is not in the desire to control actions but what actions should be dictated. And then to defend that by admitting that liberals only want to control thoughts and beliefs under the guise that it is better than controlling actions. Society depends on controlling actions, but the very concept of freedom this country is based on is freedom of speech and thoughts. This crap isn't going to solve anything...If you aren't convicted of a crime, you shouldn't lose your right to purchase a gun. So if this moron couldn't have gotten a gun, so then he could have driven his car into a gay pride parade and still caused the same amount of causalities....
