The political agenda will never ever go away. I thought it was a crazy that the pig was running around with its intestines out. I'm not trying to single you out.
Why would someone need 4 handguns though? I get the need for rifles and such...but why so many handguns?
I'm with you...I understand if they are collectibles/antiques...Not sure if our resident Nebraska Jets fan has all handguns though.
Well, full disclosure, it was a family get-together to celebrate 3 birthdays and there were children doing the pinàta thing on the other side of the house, so it was a situation that had to be dealt with. I think I dealt with it in a responsible fashion. I may have illustrated the intestines part a bit liberally, but it stuck with me, so that that's what I went with.
It's all good man...Nothing wrong with what you did. It's weird, I think pigs are cute but I think bacon is delicious...Decisions are hard. I recall as a kid I actually went many locations in a third world country where I get to pick my live chicken in it's cage and they slice its neck and toss it into a bucket for it to die before we take it home to eat. I think about it, that probably was a very wrong way now to off those birds but it is what it is. Anyways, Gun control/types of ownership are matters that are different. There are crazy people all over the world...I know some people who are nuts but are in a foreign country and poor but they are no where near a gun so they can't take stupid actions on others. We have crazy people in this country or people who lack social skills and are angry at the world but it's easy for them to buy one and make a reckless decision.
If you were wondering about Obama using Executive orders to improve gun control he issued some in 2013 but to basically enforce laws that were already on the books not to implement his own new legislation which he cannot do. And one of them was to help states to overcome legal barriers via HIPAA so they could report information into the background check system.

I have a Matlin 30-30 lever action, a Ruger 10-22, a Marlin Bolt action .22, I have a Remingtion 870 12 gauge pump action shot gun, and I also have a .38 revolver by Smith and Wesson. The 2 Marlins are from the 70's and were my grandfathers. I'd never give the 30-30 lever action away. Ever. I love that gun. The .38 was my dads and the other 2 I purchased recently.
Hogs are fucking mean. They bite you when you are near them and the females are fucking vicious. They are incredibly smart animals though.
I keep the handgun for home defense. I really only might get one more handgun, prolly a semi-auto one. Thats when I have the money though. I just want to get an AR-15 before Hillary is in the WH because I think that she will ban the sale of those when she is elected and I would hopefully be grandfathered in by that time.
Exactly. When gun sellers do a background check, are they able to see how may guns someone's already purchased? I mean 4 handguns should have raised some kind of alert. Though the reports did say that it wasn't just the shooter who bought the guns himself, a relative (presumably his mother) purchased some of them too
From what I know from working the gun counter at a sporting goods store, no. The only thing we used to check is a criminal record for felonies. Thats it. If you pass, you can walk out with your purchased firearm.
If you're a law abiding citizen and gun owner, why is that relevant? My Dad was a gun collector. Had 14. I'm a registered gun owner and have 3. If I want another and then ANOTHER, who's business is that other than mine? When you buy a car do car dealers look to see how many cars you have? I own 18 cooking/chef knives. When I go buy new ones, Chef Central doesn't inquire as to how many I have. _
Do you have one screwdriver for every job around the house or do you have different sizes and styles to match each job?
