As cool as all of that sounds, one of the reasons most people don't turn to businessinsider.com for their ecological updates is that they have some serious blinders on when it comes to outcome assessment. Because, in a vacuum, all those things they list are great. But if all those predictions come true, I'd be even more terrified. Two thirds of those predictions involved ways humans would live longer, survive better, or reproduce more. There are costs associated with that.
