So, calling me a pompous faggot. Enjoy the ban. Whatever. I'm imature. Why? Because finally, one Yankee fan decided it was time to give the Mets fans back a little bit of their own medicine? I minded my own business in the playoffs, and Mets fans didn't. I guess we should just let the past be the past? Well then why do you keep coming back at me? I guess so, huh? It would be really stupid of me to do this if I didn't feel some inner need. Old enough to hold grudges, young enough to act on them. As I said, enjoy the vacation. Now you said it outright.
You're doing it again. Edit: The past is the past as far as I'm concerned. This isn't a Yankee/Mets discussion, this is a -- You being a backseat-modding pompous crybaby douchebag -- discussion.
I love a good rant, but this rant is baseless and isn't accurate in claims. It sounds more like a person who watched only the LCS or only a game or two in the LCS, not an entire season.
I'm going to walk away, since you've pissed me off more than enough today already. I'd suggest you do the same.
I understand exactly the point you guys were trying to make, but the point I was trying make is that you need to take this at face value. It's nothing more than a joke. Chances are, it wasn't written by a Mets fan. That Madden rating thread wasn't written by the actual player, but it was still humorous. You guys are just taking the letter too seriously. It was nothing more than a joke, and the fact that it was written so poorly uninformed just solidifies that. Get a decent laugh out of it, don't take offense to it, and move on. That's all I'm saying.
But doesn't a joke need to be funny to laugh at it? I get that it was supposed to be a joke, I didn't take offense to it one bit, I just didn't see the funny in it..
I agree, you could have said it without the "you people are a sad bunch of clowns" but your point still stands. On that note I'm done with this as well. (probably for a while)
Fair enough. Some guys didn't find it funny. I just thought there was a distinct negative overreaction. I thought it was quite funny myself. To each his own.
My displeasure/enjoyment of this letter was not going to have anything to do with the Mets losing the NLCS. The letter simply wasn't funny. Neither was the Albright email. Earth to Alio- Albright email HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE METS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
