No we can't. That would be horrible. We already have a TON of youth and speed at CB. Drafting Cromartie would be pointless. There isn't much chance of that happening guys.
Darnell Bing's stock has been dropping. Maybe in the 3rd round? Because I dont know that Mangini will want to keep the same setup at safety (two FS's instead of the classic FS/SS tandem).
Great signing by the Jets the secondary was definitely a weak point, and with Dyson that is one less thing we have to worry about on defense!

they will have some bumps early cause these guys are gambles.. but when the smok clears they will both have good seasons imo.
I was about to watch American Idol..I had my laptop on my lap...and then I saw the news right as the show was starting...basically did a 360 and started watching ESPNnews...gotta love sports
Now that I have calmed down... I wanted Dyson badly last offseason, but wound up with Ty Law, which was fine. In this year's FA wish list I had Ted Washington, Andre Dyson and Stephen Neal..I'm happy as hell with Dyson. 26 years old, alot of potential and could be a guy who could thrive under Mangini. He'll have trouble getting beat deep despite his speed, but this is an upgrade without a doubt. Their was a glaring weakness with the departure of Law...Now the Jets have made a very good signing with Dyson having a young/fast tandem of Dyson and Miller makes me happy. Barrett will now most likely go down into the Nickel corner, where he could end up better...Strait, i'm still a fan of, but now will get knocked down into Dime corner and this is his contract year... This signing came out of nowhere and has been the best one yet, i'm very happy.
Wow, I just got back to my dorm and scroll through the forums to see this...it really came out of the blue! Awesome move by the FO though, we got a guy with a lot of upside locked up for 5 years. Hopefully Mangini and co. can help him out and develop. Him and Miller could be a young, elite corner duo if that happens. Wow, I wanted this guy last year and was disappointed when we couldn't grab him....I'm so happy!
