it is official... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2389547 THIS IS A GREAT SIGNING... IM PUMPED
The article said he would be a starter...IMO it will be Dyson at #1 and Barreet and Miller will compete in TC...
I think Jim Schwartz (DC of Titans) is out of the BB school in Cleveland. So if he wanted Dyson back, that's a good endorsement. Hey, if Mangini's track record is any indication, half our defensive backfield will go down at some point next year. So whether Barrett starts, Miller starts, etc. may not matter much in the end because they all play.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5507 what does the scouting say? i dont have insider...
He didn't...he is making more than he did in his old contract with Seattle. He is going to make like 3 million a year.
2006 Scouting Report - Scouts Inc. Grade: 73 | Key Alert: None Comment: Has an excellent burst out of the break and as a result will break up a lot of plays and get his fair share of picks. Each and every year he has matured in terms of instincts and recognition skills and displays good range in a variety of zone and man schemes. Has the speed, acceleration and technique to recover if caught out of position. However, Dyson had a bit of a down year in terms of tackles and although he has become a formidable cover corner, he still seems to lack focus and is inconsistent in other areas of the game. He is not a very physical presence in press coverage, lacks ideal bulk, strength and size and can struggle in the red zone vs. bigger, more physical receivers. He was graded as the Seahawks 9th best player, and 25th best CB in the league.
Alright, that makes no sense. Over 5 years he is making 11.5 mill If you can do any math, that is 2.3 mill per year... great math

$3M signing bonus over 5 years, which is 600K per year, which comes out to be close to $3M. Plus the year by year salary can be different per year, depending on how the team wants to structure it.
well signing bonus of 3 mil with bonuses....im not argueing, but it depends on if its backloaded or front loaded it seems with our cap room and from the article that we may have given a more front loaded contract to get him hear
Include his signing bonus and it is about 3 million a year...nice math ass Trying to make people look stupid almost never works...be a friendly poster and tell someone you might think they are incorrect. What you tried to do was make me look stupid and that pie you threw went right in your face...
