Yes, it's a far cry from the information network that we were used to. That's the best part of all of this right now.
no kidding, last season we would have known what time Dyson's plane landed, how his wife felt about Long Island and what he ate for dinner.
yea well if we knew he would be visiting, and if he left without a contract we would have to listen to some more al dorow bull shit
i think Miller and Barrett will compete for that second spot, with, hopefully, Miller winning the job. but is Barrett a Nickle Corner? the position's definition is kinda nebulous, so i'm not sure what skill-set is required to play it. either way, the Secondary looks in much better shape now, and we have a bit more flexibility heading into the draft. awesome! cheers
I think this is what the secondary will look like on opening day... #1- Andre Dyson- With coaching this guy can be a beast. He has made lots of big plays in his career (had a 6 INT season) #2- Justin Miller- Talk about a speedy and talented duo to start at CB? Miller is even more talented than Dyson. Both have alot of potential. #3- David Barrett- He had a bad year last year on a bad team. I look for him to bounce back and play like he did in 04. Hell of a backup and nickel back. #4- Derrick Strait- has talent, just hasn't tapped into any of it yet. With good coaching he could be solid at the dime back Hell of a signing. This signing got my juices goin...
I think most people will agree with this. With Miller & Dyson as our starting CBs, they will need a lot of grooming and coaching; but they could become one of the best CB tandems!
haha. im sure al dorrow, champ, and rajensen will find a way to bash this signing. let's see how creative they get. cheers
Wait til draft day...this board will have over 400 people online and there will be a post-a-thon once we draft some guys...
...we'll let that one slide because he hasnt even officially been introduced yet - but its Andre Dyson, not Kevin
It's true, I just saw it on the ticker....Dyson is a Jet, He signed a 5 year contract. Financial terms NOT disclosed
