Yer all wrong: jour·ney·man ( P ) Pronunciation Key (jûrn-mn) n. One who has fully served an apprenticeship in a trade or craft and is a qualified worker in another's employ. An experienced and competent but undistinguished worker. A journeyman is one who is involved in a skill of craft, but has not reached the level of master. Both Law and Dyson are above journeyman. The number of teams they played for has nothing to do with it. It has to do with how accomplished they are in their field. They would both be better described as "craftsmen". craftsman n 1: a professional whose work is consistently of high quality; "as an actor he was a consummate craftsman" 2: a creator of great skill in the manual arts; "the jewelry was made by internationally famous craftsmen" [syn: crafter] 3: a skilled worker who practices some trade or handicraft
For the love of god can people stop calling Dyson a shutdown corner? The most positive description of Dyson that anybody can give is "above average." Very, very few corners in the NFL can shut down the top recievers in the game and Dyson is certainly not one of them. He is a useful player because he is very good at gambling and jumping routes, which leads to interceptions and less throws his way. I shudder to think of what a villain Dyson will become on this site once he has to line up against top players like Andre Johnson, Randy Moss and Marvin Harrison next season.
Mention someone who has some credibility on this board who have labled Dyson a shutdown corner, please.
Just because people don't have credibility doesn't mean that I don't have to read their idiotic banter.
But the way you made it sound, you seemed as if numerous posters labeled him a shut-down CB, when it was probably 1, maybe 2 people, if that. Appreciate that and thankyou.
