Dyson is not a journeymen corner, that's ridiculous.

I do not remember but some poster in postseason made this a possibility by stating the front office should pursue Dyson...you got your wish! What an upgrade..I'm pleased.

How many times do I have to say it?

You have to play in a Super Bowl before team Mangini will look at you.

I was one of the people who really wanted him, and I'm very pleased right now.

This gives us a solid, not great, corner, who has the possibility to give us some great plays. Dyson didn't play in all 16 games last year, but he is a good defensive CB. I really look forward to seeing him, Barrett, Miller, and Strait as a unit. Hopefully we can sign another decent CB.

Finally got a legitimate name this offseason!

I was there too... I wanted Ma'ake Kemoaetu and Dyson, in that order. One out of my top two ain't bad though.... I'll take it.

Good signing for you guys. The Utes continue to impress me, though they're taking some heat nationally. What else is new?

If bad press is a sign of true progress, then we should be chums, Jets fans and Skins fans.

It's true I wanted Dyson to be our nickle guy, but that's probably why we were never a serious contender for his services. With Ty Law's departure, Dyson should fit right in.

Looks like you and the Fins will turn this division upside down.

It's NOT ridiculous in the sense that he's well traveled. Ty Law is a journeyman too by that definition and he turned out okay for you.

Best case scenario, Dyson needed to find a home, a good fit. Worst case scenario, you discover why Seattle didn't make a serious move to keep him around.

    Law isn't a journeyman. 2 teams in 11 years (likely to be 3 in 12) isn't really a "journeyman".

This is great news, we now have a solid 1-2 punch with Barrett and Dyson and Miller's a great #3. Dyson was one guy I really wanted to pick up, great job by the FO to get this guy in NY and at a bargain too. This really helps our defense.

I'm pretty sure he was a cap casualty, so they may not have wanted to cut him, they cut him for cap room. And the ESPN article says they tried to get him back.
