Check out the link below about Tom Coughlin and the Jaguars. Coughlin fined Dante Fowler 25 times ($700,000 total) for doing his off-season rehab away from the team facility, and he fined Leoonard Fournette $99.000 for sitting on the bench while inactive last season. Both won grievances, and both are getting their money back. Although there are 32 NFL teams, more than a quarter of all grievances filed over the last two years were against the Jaguars. The world has changed, but you have to wonder if Coughlin's idea of discipline has devolved into keeping a sharp eye out for chickenshit violations. It sounds like both Coughlin and Doug Marrone will be shown the door this year. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...ts-99000-fine-rescinded-for-sitting-on-bench/
Before someone suggests it, I don't want the Jets to hire Coughlin in any capacity. The game has passed him by.
Doubt it, they're going to clean house this offseason. The only reason they fired Coughlin now was because of the statement the NFLPA released.
Wasn’t TC Pres of Football Operations ? It always sounded like a good idea to have someone like that on Jets to help with obviously bad FO decisions Looks like Coughlin went Power Mad Still think it could work for us here
