He is, but can and will be used at CB too.

I wonder if Rex has thought about giving him a try over Pool. The guy is built like a brick shit house, last year at 1 of the freezing games he was warming up without a shit to get used to the cold and it looked like he was made out of rocks.

They were playing a Cover 1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, I'm pretty sure Leonhard was supposed to cover anything over the top. Wilson may look like he would've gotten burnt, but he had help over the top.

I bet a Dolphag the Jets would keep Marshall under a 100 yards. The fucker ran for 160+. Deal was, we use an avatar of the winners choice for three wks.

Mind you, I'd make that bet 10 time and win it 9 times.

Yeah you are right. Wilson was covering the under route while safety would cover him at the top. But u don't let ur guy zoom past u when u are playing cover one. What happens if Wilson lets him and and Cro lets his guy go like that assuming he has safety help? Safety can only cover one deep route, not two on different sides. That was a mistake by Wilson when u are blitzing heavily.

why is wilson playing so bad? he is fast (ran a 4.4) and supposedly had great technique but he looks slow and lost so far. i konw he's a rookie so i'm cutting him a break, but still come on

True, but fortunately that didn't happen. The only other receiver we probably had to worry about, was Harvin, but he got jammed at the line pretty good by Revis. Cro was covering Moss on a drag route across the middle. Normally they tell ya to throw in the direction of the blitz, which I think it's what Rex wanted Favre to do. Smith looked like he was watching Lewis the entire time. Had Favre had more time in the pocket, I dunno if Smith OR Wilson would've been in a position to defend the deep ball to Lewis. Definitely a high risk, high reward blitz, and I'm glad we guessed right.

He's a rookie. They get picked on a lot regardless of how you play. I think he's just learning the system and trying to get up to NFL speed.
