Fish gunner clearly doing what he did back then.....run downfield 2 yrds out of bounds to avoid opposing players, making zero attempt to get back in bounds. Sal didn't want his own knee blown out. I don't think at the time Sal expected the gunner to actually run into him. Sal expected the gauntlet to force the gunner back towards the field of play.
