Cop lady was a good actress...I figured the doctor was going to leave but I guess not. Only Noah decided to leave, which doesnt surprise me

It was an okay episode. Beth stabbing the cop made no damn sense though, even if the cop didn't shoot her you would be inciting a gun fight between everyone and would either end up dead or having a number of your friends (the ones that just made such a huge effort to save you) getting killed in the process. It accomplishes nothing in the best case scenario and kills a lot of people in the worst case scenario.

I just wonder what they do now. They are sort of in a similar position as they were in at the start of the season (minus the Terminus people trying to get them) only down Beth and Bob and up Noah and the priest.

The only way I saw the doctor leaving was if they raided the hospital and killed all of the cops that protected that place.

That doctor basically killed another doctor in order to keep his security and creature comforts in the hospital, there was little chance he'd volunteer to walk out of there with a bunch of strangers and less chance that those cops would let their only doctor walk out of the hospital.

They are in the same position they have been in since the CDC blew up early in the series. You act like they have been forging toward a cure all this time. The only change was mullet boy lying about a cure and giving them half a season of hope.

And you are wasting your time trying to apply real world logic to a fantasy story. I've read a bunch of your posts in this and they are a real waste of a read, sorry.

"It was a decent thread, but reading deerow agonize over the illogical and unrealistic decisions of characters living in a world full of fucking zombies just made no damn sense."

I don't really see how you interpreted my post as me "acting like they have been forging toward a cure all this time" as I never once referenced any of that but, okay, don't read my posts then. It saves me having to read your asinine replies.

I always wondered can zombies swim? Sit out on a boat in a lake and call it a night.

My father in law seems to think moving to Canada would solve all your problems because the zombies would freeze.

I'm not sure how you would eat out in a lake?

Then there wouldn't be a show.

There are so many logical and prudent things the characters could and should do but it's a fantasy show where logic and reason do not exist.

My brother who is an ex-marine fighter pilot calls me after every episode complaining about all the stupid stuff they did and the obvious precautions that could have been taken and I larf and always respond "so why do you watch it?"

Great Season 5 Part 2 debut last night. Very interesting how it was shot. I wonder where the crew goes now? Especially Maggie and Sasha.

Did not like that mid season premiere...They need to cut it out with trying to be so different and just stick to what works. That trippy episode was just too much.

Now we also all know why everybody hates Chris.

I normally would agree, but I thought they pulled off the episode well.

Terrible episode. Is there a purpose to the narrative to just drag his death out for the entire episode? His moping will not be missed and he deserved what he got. There's a zombie in the other room, I'll just zone out on these pictures here. Yawn.

Agreed, that episode was brutal. Even though someone died it seems like nothing happened, for all but 2 minutes of the episode there were only 5 people in the episode, they went into one house and chatted outside a garage. I think they were trying too hard to do something more artistic but it just came across like they were dragging out the episode for time to me.

Well, I didn't really like Tyrese anyway, too whiny, and at least now they have a destination to move towards.

I figured out last night why I disliked the episode.

My GF DVRed the "Talking Dead" and watched it last night and at one point in an interview Andrew Lincoln said he loved the episode because it was very Terrence Malik-like.

I hate everything Malik has ever done, I find him to be a director's version of The King and His New Clothes that the faux intelligentsia love because....well...he's a GENIUS!

No, he sucks and all that bullshit fantasy flashback none sense is a tired old crutch.

Anything deemed Terrence Malik-like fails in my book.

The man ruined one if my favorite war novels with that crap film The Thin Red Line.

I hope we don't have more episodes like Sunday's.

I thought the episode felt very Resident Evil-ish (the original games) in its tone and score, which I would have liked if something interesting would have happened.

Whew, glad I am not the only one who thinks the Walking Dead has hit a wall. But, I love "The Thin Red Line", admittedly I have not read the book. But the Tyrese morality play was lame.

TWD has hit much bigger walls than that episode, there were 2 full stinker seasons in there, I wasn't impressed with the arthouse attempt of the opener but the good part was that we finally got rid of Tyrese, he was a dead spot in the group

It doesn't make me hopeful for the rest of the season but I think each episode has a different director and the overall direction may not be that bad if the producer doesn't turn it into the farm season
