Fair enough. Test it on a captive then. Of course that might turn out to be the equivalent of wasting a perfectly good stake
Yep. Though I think they turn officially by blood loss but then again Herschel had to have his leg chopped off, so the virus(Or whatever it is) doesn't transfer up into the body.
I hope so. Not to be a downer but i think we get a filler episode tonight. Last week was excellent. I expect, on the road, looking for a camp, being followed, back stories etc. Hope I'm wrong and we get another great one
Meh. The ending was the shock value to tide us over but by and large not a great episode. The basement water scene was silly. _
A little guess to something I think could play a minor part. I think when Bob was pulled under water he got a small bite, nothing major and why he hadn't turned yet but could explain why he went outside and started crying. Just when everything seems to be coming together for him he gets bit. If true and I think Gareth and his crew ate the infected leg it could be interesting to see how it affects them.
Yup me and the GF were sure he got bit. Hence the crying. Interesting about them eating potentially infected leg, but they did cook it. But would be just if all those fuckers turned from eating Bob. _
Not every episode can be a guns-blazing slaughter-a-thon, overall the episode was OK but not great. Thought the water zombie scene was kind of silly, just filling some kind of zombie quota or something. I do think Bob was bitten as well. Not sure how that will effect the Terminus people. Speaking of, I didn't notice this myself but apparently the guy that was going to kill Judith that we thought died was at the BBQ. Interested to see what is going on with the Beth storyline.
I think Bob was bitten too from what I got...I think the whole ending may tie into that, would be a great way for Gareth to get his doom
But even if they eat his leg, I think their plans are to eat a body part every night until there's no more to eat and if the infection travels far enough into Bob, well that plans falls flat in their faces. Maybe they got lucky chose the other leg, didn't check the other leg and that it didn't spread soon enough to harm them but it still fucks their hopes to eat the other body parts up. There's a big connection with the comics that I think will happen next episode.
But if everyone is already infected would eating a infected meat do anything? Unless the rot or something killed them they wouldn't turn.
Ok, I think the issue here is how/when you turn. If you die, you turn. But if you get bitten, you don't die, you just turn. That's how they saved Herschel, but have to shoot folks in the head that have gotten bitten. It's the bite that turns you. Maybe eating infected meat is like getting bitten. _
Maybe that's it. My thought was that the bite didn't turn you but got you sick and then you died and turned. For example Morgan said that his wife was bitten and that she had a terrible fever and then died and then turned. But it's possible that there are varying degrees between bite deaths and other deaths and the speed at which someone re-animates. Someone bit on the neck will probably turn faster than someone bit on the foot, for example.
Some co-workers and I came to the same conclusion while discussing the episode. This would be a pretty wild twist to see Gareth's crew reduced to zombies. As a side note every time I see the dude with the ball cap in Gareth's crew, who threatened Judith, he reminds me of Boston Rob from Survivor.
No way, Rick has to kill him with the red handled machete. Also, without giving anything away spoiler wise, people may be interested to know that the Bob storyline happens to Dale in the comics.
Definitely is the most popular drama on TV. I watch both Boardwalk and Mad Men and those shows are not the best on tv, well not anymore rather... Best show on TV is Game of Thrones and even better are the mini-series True Detective/Fargo
