He joins the group in the comics, so I don't think they did it as a gimmick.

 

What ever happened to Morgan's son? Did they showed that he died, dont remember as it was seasons ago.

 

I don't think they showed it, but when he came back in the third season they at least said he was dead.

 

Also the head of terminus isnt dead. He was shot in the shoulder. He'll be back again during this season.

 

Carol just told everyone at Terminus to look at the flowers.

Son is dead. They didn't show it, but...
Remember how Morgan couldn't kill his z-wife in S.1? Back in season 3 he told Rick that he paid for that weakness. He implied that his son met mom, couldn't pull the trigger either, and she bit the kid.

 

Best show on TV. Great Season 5 debut. I love that the show keeps building on past seasons too. So well done.

 

As I was watching, I kept getting this weird thought...
If you live in Terminus, why wouldn't you try to use walkers as the cattle? Kill the active virus by meat prep, try on one of your prisoners to see if it works. You are already infected anyway so if you're willing to eat human meat, why not try the dead meat?

One thought on the guy (Gene? I don't remember) who claims to know the cure for the virus, in the most recent episode he basically said that he thinks he can sort of flip the switch and kill all of the zombies leaving all the alive people okay...but if everyone is infected and they just don't turn until they die then wouldn't that kill everyone? Just another reason I don't buy a word that guy says.

 

For the same reason you'd eat freshly killed animals as opposed to roadkill.

Pretty sure that's a recipe to get poisoned if not turned to a walker, since you'd either ingest their blood(I don't know how you drain that off dead organ parts and body parts) which is a guarantee way to fuck up your immune and blood system.

 

Everyone is already infected, remember? So what's a little more ...

 

Yeah but that only comes into play if you die.

If you get bitten by a walker you turn.

Maybe eating them makes you turn as well.
