I don't like that Daryl just wrote Beth off as a lost cause and didn't even look for her. Side note: I wonder if Carol and Tyrese heard all the gunfire. I think it is going to be a rescue op by them or whoever Beth is with.
I don't think Daryl wrote her off. First he had to time his leaving that group he was with and then try and figure out where she might be. He doesn't have all that much to go on. Only 6 months left of speculation as to where this is all going.

Ok, did everyone else NOT see the pile of freshly stripped bloody human skeleton remains (rib cages and skulls plainly evident) as they were being herded through the maze by the Termites shooting at their feet? Was Carl actually raped or did Rick get to him before the violation? I was conerned right up until Carl stepped into the box car that he was going to get picked off, but if there are 2 unkillable characters on the show, it's Rick and Carl. Pretty intense episode, not sure I understand the complaints. _
Well there are cannibals in the comic but I'm not sure when they appear. I've only read through the first compendium, pretty much the downfall of the prison. But yeah, Terminites are hoarding survivors in and using them for their protein source is what I'm thinking. _
But what's your take on the Carl attack. I think he may have been violated, but my GF is hoping against hope that he wasn't. Carl's reaction (being comforted by Michone) was either one of (i) being raped or (ii) seeing his Dad stab a guy 50 times. I'm thinking if he had been raped, the reaction of the whole crew may have been more dramatic and I'm not sure he'd be up and walking around the next day and jumping over fences. Idk. Awful if he was. And the comic doesn't shy away from rape--the Governor raped Michone repeatedly. _
I think he was. Talking dead labeled him "totally deserved it dan" and the other guy telling michone she will get hers too or next. Don't recall exact line. Everything seemed to imply it and ricks actions towards that guy was excessively over the top was kind of the clincher for me.
I don't think Carl got raped, didn't even seem like he had his pants off or anything. If they wanted you to think he had been raped they could have made it very, very obvious without actually portraying a kid getting raped on screen,
Yeah that's kind of the way I took it too. They were definitely planning on Carl first then Michone, but it wasn't quite graphic enough to really tell. I originally thought he was. I was hoping someone mentioned it on The Talking Dead but nobody did--and nobody mentioned the skeletons either. Yeah, it probably could/would have been more graphic or made more obvious with how they treated him afterward. But I'm still not sure either way. _
FYI - The corny line in the end was from the comics, but Rick actually says ...... 'They are fucking with the wrong people."
Yep, saw the bones but I was pretty much expecting it since they had way too much meat when out in the woods Rick and the group are having trouble catching one skinny rabbit. Carl wasn't raped but looked like the guy was groping him and given time that is where it would have gone.
On The Talking Dead he said they did it in 3 different takes--he wanted to say say "fucking" but the crew decided against it. _
Would have been much better if they let him say "fucking" but silenced it like they have done on Breaking Bad and Mad Men
Just watched it again. Carl wasn't raped. Damn close though if Rick hadn't gone all zombie on the bad dude leader. _
I thought that episode was pretty good. But I just thought the entire 15 episodes were lackluster as a whole.
