I don't think it will be. Kirkman said the Prison/Woodbury arc would last into Season 4, and I'm pretty sure Morrissey is signed through season 4
Expect for them to divert away from comics in season 4...Nothing crazy happens for some time in the comics before the next major arc
Can you guys refrain from telling us whats going to happen or whats happening in the comics... or put a big "spoiler" on your posts... Even coming here after an episode I just keep reading about what may happen or what the comic did / does...etc...
I don't have any inside information (don't read spoilers and I don't read the comics), but in my opinion it would be a mistake to kill The Governor for the sake of closure in Season 3. He is too good of a villain (and actor) to just cast aside. However, with that said, I think they need to have some resolution of the Woodbury/Prison arc. One side needs to win and then the other can regroup and still be a factor in season 4. I don't want to see Season 4 as just a continuation of Season 3 conflicts.
Yeah I am still in shock. And bummed. He was a great character. I waited so long for his return and just like that: gone............
SPOILER COMING UP, but really if you aren't caught up you have no one to blame but yourself by opening this thread. Couldn't stand Merle, but his swan song was pretty dope. Plus we're going to have a wedding guys!
When your girl knows you got her ring off a dead chick and still says yes, you know you've got a keeper.
I feel like the reveal of Merle had a bigger impact than anything so far in this series. It beat out Sophia coming out of the barn for me. Even if you hated him, he was a character you at least had feelings about, and Daryl dealing with it is way more compelling than Carol/Sophie who were basically set pieces.
I have to disagree here. Obviously last night's moment with the two brothers was amazing. A top moment of the series so far, but Sophia walking out of the barn was unbelievable. That is when I was officially sold: Okay, this is the best show on tv. Epic moment.
Agree. That entire scene was tremendous. Shane going all....Shane. The slaughter of the walkers. Then Sophia comes out. And Rick puts one through her skull. I did like this week's episode. I thought Michael Rooker did a great job selling it. And I think Michone is finally becoming a strong character. Can't wait for next week's episode (although I'll be in Orlando and won't get to watch until Monday night).
I loved that scene at the end, but what was the point of pretending to shoot him if he was just going to let him turn. That part was kind of pointless. I could see that being a cliffhanger until next week, but they revealed it like 5 minutes later.
Cant praise the show all the time even though i love it. But that was a underwhelming ending...Clearly they like the Governor character to extend him into next season. The Andrea death is a huge surprise and shock to use graphic novel readers too But not much other then Governor going rambo happened...At least it will be back in October. Woohoo!!
Btw you guys see the new trailer for the original drama show coming to AMC with Mark Strong and....MORGAN!...and....GALE! Low Winter Sun
It was another good episode. The story does not feel finished at all though, because it is not. However, it is very TWD-like, to have random episodes feel like a season finale, and have a season finale, feel like a random episode.
