I'm pretty sure they're not going to follow that outcome. It would probably piss off a good portion of viewers.
Nah. I'm just being silly. I did not read the comics. Just rethink the whole thing, though. Do you really want someone here to spoil anything for you? Also, maybe you'd want to read the comics. Heck, I might do that.
That's the truth! I was liking Shane better than Rick last season and a good part of it was because of how p*ssy-whipped Rick was acting. LOLOLOLZ! I am so glad I'm not the only one who dislikes Lori. Cakes, Thanks for posting this retraction, cuz it would have been a major spoiler alert ... of course, the twin zombie baby would eat the good twin before it was born and then Lori when it was born, so there would be that I've thought about getting the graphic novels, and checked on Amazon. Some are quite pricey, and I kind of like not knowing what's going to happen each week. Mishonne's pets are really cute, huh? If you haven't watched it yet, make sure you walk the Talking Dead 1/2 hour episode after each show. Last year it was pretty awesome.
True. I just assumed when the one poster said they probably won't do what the comics did, I wondered what it was. I should read them.
Cuz it is easier to quote this one than it is to go back a page... Yeah, the music in this show is good. For me, "Breaking Bad" is the top show for use of music. "Crystal Blue Persuasion", "Shimmy Shimmy Ya", the Mexican song about Heisenberg, the music while Jesse was about to face off with drug dealers who had his bald headed friend killed, the music before Gus went in to kill Salamanca, etc
(the deleted post was actually commenting on your "spoiler" post, before I read the rest of the exchange) BB is indeed an excellent show. Among my favorites. It does make good use of music. It is kind of apples and oranges when comparing its use of music vs. LOST. BB uses music in a TV sort of way, in which in can punctuate a scene. LOST used music in a cinematic way in which it was integral to conveying the mood of the show. If you took the music away from BB, the show would still be brilliant. If you take the music away from LOST, a big aspect of the show is lost.
I actually think the scene where Gus is walking to the old people's home to see Hector with that music was one of the most iconic scenes in tv...Had goosebumps. One scene I will never forget
I'm watching last week's episode (again) while I wait for the new one to start at 9. Hey, did you guys hear anything about their budget being cut? Somebody said that's why the season was so .... calmish .... last season, without as many zombie kills as I prefer. All those pharmacies they gathered supplies from, and they didn't get Lori any birth control. No condoms for the guys. WTF?
There were budget issues last season (AMC is notoriously cheap)....which led to some of the issues with Frank Darabont. However, given how much money TWD is making for AMC, budget does not appear to be an issue anymore (Season 3, Ep 1 seemed to have little issue with expenses.
Really enjoying this season so far... hopefully it keeps up this strong pace. Lightyears better than Season 2.
