It was okay. I found myself getting bored in a few places, looking up stuff on my phone instead of watching. The wife, what is her deal? They come upon this pile of wrecked cars and she looks at it with such shock, like she can't believe it. Then she doesn't like the scavenging of the abandoned vehicles, out of some reverence for the dead. WTF? That was just a silly couple of back-to-back scenes that made no sense. Bad writing, IMO.
Is anyone watching this "Talking Dead" after show? Patton Oswalt and this other stupid looking fuck are bashing this show. It's pretty funny.
Shameless takes a few episodes for the shenanigans and family dysfunction to really get going. Once it does the series is fun/funny. Also try Justified. Again, it took a half season for the writers to get going and learn what works but once they did....... The show has just gotten better and better. Season 2 was fantastic.
That accent is not only terrible, he only uses it in some of the scenes. I don't remember it being like that in the first season, I hope they give up on that stupid experiment.
And another thing, why does that old man keep fixing up that hunk of shit RV when there's like 100 vehicles just sitting there with the keys in the ignition and a tank full of gas? I'm sure there would be at least a couple of newer, nicer RVs available, or at least some vans. I kept looking at that classic, cream-colored Mustang in mint condition last night and thinking WTF would you suck the gas out of that to put in your old shitbox?
Show still doesn't have a plot...I should say, outside of their ultimate goal to find sanctuary. They really haven't structured this. Each episode creates it's own "mini plot" which requires resolution. I'll keep watching........
Surprised not more people enjoyed the season premiere like i did. Btw, the guy in the 'Talking Dead' said this was the best episode yet. Is the show that different from the comics?
I liked it. The gutting scene was a little over the top. I've cleaned a few deer over the years and never had to do all that plunging with the knife to get the stomach bag out. lol The church scene was good. Did they let the kid stand there and watch his dad bludgeon the zombie?
Why did the cop have to kill the zombies a quarter mile from where he hid the girl? When he killed the first zombie, the second one was only like 50 feet behind the first...meaning didn't need much room to kill them. The only thing that mattered was the girl was tucked away in the brush under the hill to not be noticed which they accomplished. When the first zombie fell off the hill into the water that was the prime time to kill it while the other one ran atop the hill. stupid.
He told the little girl to "stay put" too.....why the fuck did she wander away? Did Rick stutter? dumb bitch.
he told her to go back to the highway if he didn't return for her after awhile. she took off like 5 mins after he left.
