Small spoiler alert. If you read the comics the first starts with a quick essay that explains this isn't a zombie or horror comic but a sociological study and what should/could happen to society in the extreme events of an apocalypse. Them playing with pacifism, peoples moral compass and indiscriminate use of violence is part of theorizing on this and what makes it so interesting. You can see Morgans internal conflict with this prisoner. I say he keeps his hands clean and let's Carol handle it.
Nice catch! I didn't think about this, but it is plausible and I think likely. Actually, I hadn't even thought of her character name until BonScott mentioned it. Luna is the perfect name for a spy: the moon is two-faced. It presents one face to us on earth while its other face (or half) perpetually faces away, concealed from us. So it makes all the sense in the world that Luna is going to be two-faced and we haven't seen this other face..... yet.
That's an excellent theory, but I think it's probably a lot less cerebral than that. Something like... "WOLVES AND MOON! GET IT? GET IT? WE'RE CLEVER!"
Oh wow, I didn't know that. I love the show, but I've never read the comic. I read a little info about the comics (hardly the same thing) and decided to beg off for fear of messing up my show watching experience. However, I never came across that original essay. No wonder I like this show. What I saw about Morgan's conflict at the end of the last episode was he realized that now he was in the same position Eastman was in when Morgan was captured by him. But now Morgan had a hostile, wild person who threatened his world view just like Morgan did to Eastman. Eastman had been able to reach into Morgan's humanity because there was still humanity to reach (but also because he was a trained professional with YEARS of experience coping with humanity's worst human beings). I think Morgan is looking at this captured Wolf and wondering how he is going to do the same for this guy..... but it isn't the same..... When Morgan was captured he asked Morgan to kill him. Yes, Morgan threatened Eastman, but most of all Morgan was self-threatening and defeated as a human being. The captured Wolf didn't say, "kill me" he said, "I'm going to kill you, your friends, and even those children." This is a qualitatively different person. Whatever humanity was there is gone and even if something is still there the risk is FAR too great with all the lives at risk. I suspect if Eastman had lived even he would have had a tough time with this guy. He may not have advocated death for the captured Wolf, but I doubt he belives he can be rehabilitated. In this world, however, incarceration (long term) is no option and it wasn't in the past either. If this person is a threat that cannot be released then they have to die. But can Morgan do that now? I think you'll be right, it will be Carol or maybe Rick.
I think you and Abyzmul are on to something here..... Come to think of it, who was the WE she was mentioning? Didn't she come in alone? Or have I gotten my characters confused? This MUST be an (intentional) character screw up alluding to her association to a larger group. Gotta be..... Damn spying...... so now we know that Belichick and Kraft have survived the zombie apocalypse!
You talking about the young girl? Thought her name was Enid. But I do agree with thinking she might be with them, not sure why but thought that was already exposed, little girl no one would suspect.
Winding down. She tried to leave at the beginning but Carl forced her to help with protect Judith. We also did not see Judith post attack if i recall so i wonder if if snagged her to get her away from the violence. 'm thinking she aligned with the Wolves as a survival method, entered Alexandria as their spy and realized shes better off with these people then the wolves and now is laying low until the insanity subsides with Judith in a safe space. JSS
Honestly I have no idea what her name is, it usually takes me 3 seasons to learn a character's name, I've been calling her "girl that sneaks over the wall."
I believe she did leave during the attack or as it winded down.. Also - I'm really bad with names, but the guy who has been with Daryl the entire time - he found a bunch of pictures of Alexandria, did Luna take those photos? The bag that he found the photos in looks like her bag she takes with her when she goes out wandering the woods when Carl chases her
Maybe. I really don't know. That guy seemed so shocked j thought it was photos from someone spying on them. It does seem like it could be from that. Maybe that guy was so shocked because he put 2 and 2 together and realized those wolves were the one who had those zombies trapped?
They were his "recruitment photos" i think he was shocked both for putting 2 and 2 together about the trapped zombies as well as felt partially responsible, in his mind the photos lead to the attack.
I had no idea what her name was either but when Bon Scott said Luna it didn't sound right so I looked it up. Don't know why I thought the"spy" aspect was already exposed, not to any other character, just thought they showed something to viewers. Figured that was why she was in a rush to get out during the attack.
For sure. This season has been really good IMO. A lot of different storylines are picking up, but they all have been unanswered. 1) Glenn - dead or alive? 2) Luna - is she part of the Wolves? 3) Morgan has one locked away in a basement 4) Morgan vs Rick showdown
My bad, don't know where Luna came from. Enid it is. Me thinks Enid took Rick's piece from the blender in the woods I have a feeling Carol sniffs this out and Carl won't be happy
Am I the only one that sucks at remembering TV show names? I was calling Darryl "dirty little brother" until the second prison season. Carol was "battered wife syndrome" until the Terminus escape, and Morgan went from "that black guy" in season 1 to "Jumani" after the crazy man episode to "burnt Bruce Lee" up until the beginning of this season
I suck at remembering names, but this show isn't too bad with it. Game of Thrones and Bastards Executioner have me lost with names
