Doug Brien shouldn't be hated - that was Edwards' fault not his. Tough kick made even tougher by some gutless decision making.

I never liked Abraham. Not because he wasn't a good player, I hated his drive and his willingness to disappear for whole sections of games... It's easier to hate players that don't give it all as opposed to players that lay it all on the line even if they aren't good.

Sanchez was absolutely maddening to watch at times, and I hated that, but I'm not going to list him as a player I hated because he gave it all, just didn't have it.

I Mostly hate players because of their attitude / only play hard when they are playing for a contract. Examples:

    1.) Abraham
2.) Holmes - I almost hate to see him get a 1st down because of that stupid ass celebration.
    3.) Jason Ferguson
    4.) Johnny Mitchell
    5) Keyshawn

Its funny people would hate Favre? For what? The guy was taking this team to the playoffs before he was hurt for the final 3 games.

I don't understand the hatred for Matthew Mulligan either - he sucked, but so what? he was a backup TE barely on the roster for what 2 seasons? Most of those guys do suck. We have one now, his name is Rueland. People don't claim to hate him.....

Mulligan gets hate probably because he got so many penalties in such little playing time.

I don't hate players that suck. I pity them. I hate the GMs and Head Coaches who make the decision to bring them to the team.

I can only really hate a player that is actually worth an NFL roster spot. Thus Holmes.

Also, I think Holmes is way more selfish than Keyshawn was.

Favre never wanted to be here and it showed in the final weeks of the '08 season. No way does he pull that, "Well, you can take me out if ya want" shit if he's in the same situation with the Vikes. It was apparent from the guy's demeanor and body language that he checked out early. Plus, he threw the Jets under the bus by making it public that they didn't fully disclose his injury status, and that was after they had done him the favor of releasing him without asking for any compensation. Dude is the epitome of a selfish, me-first kinda player.

Surprised so many hate Gastineau. He was my favorite player as a kid and a major reason I became a Jets fan. Of course I was like 10 at the time so I wasn't aware of anything except what I saw on Sundays.

Really? I always thought he was a great blocking TE. He just had hands of stone and couldn't catch shit.
