My all time favorite Jets player is Curtis Martin. My Iowa State University license plate reads: JETS28 confuses the heck out of people here in Iowa!
Wayne Cherbet followed by Broadway Joe than Curtis Martin. Cherbet epitomized what it means to be a football player by giving 100% on every play. His story by being a walk on to becoming one of the best wr's in franchise history is fantastic.
Hey, what'd ya expect from a guy who hailed from Beaver Falls? ;-) Joe Namath Joe Klecko Lance Mehl A zillion 'Honorable Mentions' Freeman McNeil Johnny Hector Al Toon Marvin Powell Dan Alexander Gerry Philbin Wesley Walker John Schmidt Matt Snell Don Maynard Marty Lyons Pat Leahy (yeah I know, a kicker, but the guy was good) Victor Green (I forgive you guys "back there" for letting Elway hit that 0-10 score 'post-bomb' in the AFC Championship Game and letting Denver back in it...partly because we didn't capitalize on that 10-0 lead) gotta throw in a shout out for #90 Dennis Byrd as well...and a slew of others...
It Wasn't Victors fault that the game was fixed so elway could win the superbowl in his retirement year. Oh wait that horse faced corksoaker came back another year. Hey Joihn. Why The long Face?
