Jonathan_Vilma selects cornerback Willie Brown as per last night's PM: 1. Eric Dickerson, RB, St. Louis Rams 2. Showdown Willie Brown, CB, Oakland Raiders
Wow, this thread freakin' rules. I went through the entire thing and I'm really enjoying it. EDIT: I got it, I got it. Rest of original post deleted, 1028, ya big baby. Hehehe.
I draft one of the leaders to one of the best defenses of all time who will fit in nicely with Mean Joe Greene, DT Warren Sapp
I draft: CB Rod Woodson. A ballhawk if there ever was one. 71 Int's. I labeled him as a CB since he started there and then later moved to FS.
I draft Steve Young, QB, San Francisco 49ers. Need someone to head my team and why not the man with the highest career passer rating ever?
I select a back who once went over 1000 yards rushing and receiving in the same season and has a very small fumble rate. He never fumbled in 2000, in fact. I hate fumbles. Marshall Faulk
I have Kevin's and Wolfe's picks and Donnie is here so we really could fly through quite a few picks tonight
I select CB Darrell Green Washington Redskins Just as good as Deion and Woodson without all the glitz and glamour
I select DE Doug Atkins, Chicago Bears. Considered the leader of a great Bears defense in the 50s and 60s. Known for great pass rushing ability and has all the moves to get to the passer. He is an 8 time pro bowler and was feared by many OL in the league. I thought a guy like this would be gone by now so I literally looked through the list 10 times to see if he had been taken yet. Sorry MSUJet but I found this quote and had to use it: "I played against some mean ones, but I never met anyone meaner than Atkins. After my first meeting with him, I really wanted to quit pro football. He just beat the hell out of me. He rammed me back there so hard the only thing I could do was wave to Johnny (Unitas) as I went by. It was awful. Finally, my coaches convinced me that not every pro player was like Atkins." -- Jim Parker
