I select LB Jack Lambert to go along with Lawrence Taylor. 6'4", 230 lbs. of dominance.

 

I take my favorite running back as a child:

I draft Ronnie Lott, CB/S from Southern Cal.

 

I draft Mean Joe Greene, DT from North Texas State

 

I draft Marcus Allen, RB from USC

 

With my 3rd round pick, I select RB Emmitt Smith.

 

I'll take the best tackle ever, Anthony Munoz.

 

Munoz was a fine choice by JV. He was the 2nd best available player on my board.

With my 3rd round pick, I select Bob Lilly. He was a player I strongly considered with the 5th overall choice.

Lilly was the Cowboys first ever draft choice and played with them from 1961-74. He was an all-pro from 1964-69 and played in 11 Pro Bowls and two Super Bowls. He was the one who had the 29-yard sack of Bob Griese in Super Bowl 6.

He began his career as a defensive end, but moved to tackle in 1963.



He was the cornerstone of the Doomsday Defense.

I select Terry Bradshaw. Everyone who wins 4 SBs and 8 times the Division is good enough for me.

 

With my 3rd rounder I select Dick "Night Train" Lane, the inovator of the horse collar tackle

 

With the 30th pick I select DE Gino Marchetti, Baltimore Colts. Was an all-NFL player in 9 years and a pro bowler in 11 years. Was named the best DE in the NFL's first 50 seasons. Missed 1 game in his NFL career (he's #89 below).
