A league source confirmed last night that Miller injured his leg during Sunday's practice. And while the severity of the injury is not known, this simple confirmation is telling. no, you guys (i know we have about 4-5 tannenbaum fanatics in here that don't want to hear anything negative regarding tannenbaum) are just pissed because tannenbaum can't get the deal done. don't act like you're mad at me and don't expect me to sit here and be quite while tannenbaum keeps screwing up.

Hawk, I'm not a Tannenbaum apologist, but rather, I just don't see the need hit the panic button because our 1st round pick isn't in camp 4 days before the first of four preseason games. Sorry, just not that worried about it.
Bingo. I'm no homer at all. I want Revis to get the deal he feels is best for him. At the same time, I want Tanny to do what's right for the team long term. Those who think Revis is the critical piece to us winning a Super Bowl this year are in for a rude awakening. If we make it to the title game, it won't be thanks to Revis, and chances are, we're not getting there this year anyway. This is a long-term situation, not an "us vs. them" situation as Kendall would love for everyone to believe. Revis will get a deal that is fair to him, and to the Jets. If it makes me a homer or a Tannenbaum apologist because I want to be assured that 5 years from now we don't have to make a decision between one of our great offensive linemen, or our starting CB, then I'm all for Tanny taking his time and putting together a deal his way, and I'll just be content to be a homer.
I still believe there is alot more to this than just # of years in the contract. If that was it...the solution would be extremely simple: 5 year deal w/ a 6th option. As I stated earlier...1st round CB's are known for holding out b/c agents know within the next 3 years their base salary price tag will sky rocket(it always does). This is very typical for an early round CB.
