    LOLOLOLOL

C'mon, man. The Eagles are a contender.

  2. They're legit. The division isn't that strong, and the NFC overall isn't quite the AFC.

But I just have the feeling that the Philly is due for a let down after the ran 2 QBs out of town. Karma is a bitch and McNabb should have retired a Eagle.

no, nobody else agrees. and even if they did, it would be the equivalent of one pedophile agreeing with another pedophile that 9 year old's are hot pieces of ass -- that just makes two f'ing pieces of shit.

I felt this coming. This totally reminded me of the antoine winfield debacle circa 2004.

    3 days wasted! :p

I just hope we get Cro and Braylon back. Its upsetting to not see much news about that. We need those guys back ASAP.

This should have been handled differently, failing to see that is short sighted - the story is we got played, plain and simple - maybe I'm in the minority here in stating that this waste of time has cost the Jets an opportunity to get better, something they have yet to do, and in the process, possibly taking steps backwards... So be it...

It all depends on whats done now, so far nothing promising.

    Eh.

We still have 10+ million to spend and two very valuable FA on the market. Cro and Braylon. If the sign elsewhere i guess its all a lose.

    Hopefully they dont.

They are an injury to Vick away from being a 3 or 4 win team. Basically all of their players exceeded expectations last year with the exception of maybe McCoy, so its reasonable to think that some of their players might have a down year. People like Asomugha don't instantly make a team impossible to beat. They still have two Pro Bowl corners without Aso, so its not like they are upgrading tremendously with him. You are getting Aso, but probably losing Samuel so its not like upgrading from a DIII back up cornerback. The same would have went for the Jets. Aso would have made the Jets harder to throw on because of his talent, but every team has holes and the Eagles have big holes up the middle. I still would take the Falcons in a heart beat over the Eagles. Every year there is one team that completely underachieves, and I feel like the Eagles might be that team.

Let's face it. If Aso wanted to be here he would have signed Wednesday or Thursday. When he didn't sign Thursday evening after Houston dropped out, the Jets should have made a take or leave it offer and dropped out too when he didn't take it.

If it was obvious to many of us that something was up as this dragged on and on, why didn't the Jets FO recognize it???? I hope the Jets can mend fences and re sign Cro and Edwards. Otherwise, this FA period will have been a disaster.

While I think Tanny is great, his main fault is that when he sets his sights on a player, he gets tunnel vision. I just don't understand why the Jets didn't realize Aso was not coming when this went past Thursday afternoon.
