They definitely have plan B and C and D ready to roll. As someone mentioned just having the ability to try to get Aso was unexpected so they owed it to themselves to make a push for it. It didn't work so now back to their regular programming..

Here, take a cookie. I promise, by the time you're done eating it, you'll feel right as rain.

First of all, I didn't see you complaining about the possibility of having the best defense in football when we were still in the chase for Asomugha. Hindsight is 20/20.

Second, really what did we lose by trying to sign Aso? We lost out on Jonathan Joseph (who isn't worth $50 million, $24 million guaranteed anyway.) If we turn around and sign Antonio Cromartie or Richard Marshall we'll be fine in the secondary, and we'll have money left over for someone like Braylon Edwards or Cullen Jenkins (who are still on the market despite our shocking transgression of pursuing Asomugha for 3 days.)

This guy was a primadonna and craved the attention like a whore craves cock.

Fuck him. I hope Holmes torches this bitch when we play them this year.

  6. Absolutely. The whole thing was a NA circle jerk.

Yes but you're telling the story wrong. We didn't pursue Aso, offer him a contract, and then refuse to up the offer to what he was expecting.

He courted us, promised us the moon, said he loved us, then left us at the altar destitute and pregnant for a floozy who wears our colors.

/sarcasm. No really; where's the problem? Aso represented a certain direction for the Jets with pros and cons; we're still OK with lots of cap space; let's get on with things.

Seriously...I'm over it...F him and his mother...let's go.

  9. I'm just surprised the Iggles didn't have to vastly overpay for him for the indignity of living in the cesspool that is the greater Philadelphia area.

If I had to deal with those people every day, I'd want higher compensation, I'll tell you that.

Aso is a pussy who betrayed this organization and the city of NY. Let him rot in Philly. I truly wish him nothing but the worst for the rest of his career.

Does anyone else agree that the Eagles team is pretty much shit? Vick is very overrated. They have great CB's, DE's, and WR's, but their team is pretty mediocre besides that. They are insanely good at 3 positions, and pretty bad at the rest. I just don't buy them as a Super Bowl contender. Vick had a career year trying to prove the world wrong. Aso made the wrong decision, but he is the one that will pay for it. I am fine with having the same team as last year.

They are also pretty good on the O-line. and they added Babin to the pass rush, also mccoy is a very good Rb and Celek is a good TE. They are certainly a contender. Of course their QB is a runner which makes it a bigger injury risk, and they need help still inside on D.

As a Pats fan, i want to give the city of Philadelphia a big hug :D :p

  20. I'd prefer a well-placed cut block. He's 30. Hunt his knees, and he's done.

I never wish that on a guy. On him...
