I wanted to see what would happen if it went to the 16th. Oh well, NL was playing with fire for several innings, mostly due to the fact that their 2nd baseman is worse than a black hole. A-Rod in the playoffs doesn't play like that.
I have not enjoyed an ASG like this one in years. Maybe cause of the Stadium but that aside the game was pretty damn good. And as much as I dislike the sox, "Tito" Francona did a Great job. His reaction to the win was priceless... Good to see.
Francona is the only Sox manager I've ever liked. One of the classiest guys in baseball and a damn good manager. His reaction was great.
Jeter must have a microchip in him that points him to the camera at the right time, every time. I swear I saw him out there hugging Michael Young before Morneau even stood up at the plate. All sore-loseredness aside, another epic victory for the AL (and another epic collapse by the NL in what's becoming an annual epidemic). Great game folks. And to those who have jobs, it sucks to be living on the east coast.
WOOOOOOO JD DREW MVP!!!! Also, is it just me, or is the music just a rip off of the Jurassic Park theme?
RF JD Drew of the Red Sox managed by Terry Francona of the Red Sox wins the MVP of the last All-Star game in Yankee Stadium.
