Geno always threw a nice ball. Accurate and easy to catch. It was his timing and his decision making that was terrible. I am really happy for him as he's obviously matured. although it really sucked losing to him last weekend

What did you think of them as prospects how are they performing according to your thoughts?

Fields' threw for under 200 yds 13 times this year and went 3-12... HUGE questions remain as a thrower. Can run

I think Hurts will end up as one of the modern greats when it's all said and done if he can stay healthy. I think Fields wont be that good, but will have a nice long, solid career.

As prospects I think they've both exceeded my expectations, Hurts more so obviously, but Fields will always stick in our craw because Douglas passed on him in favor of Zach Wilson.

Given the success of Hurts, Tua, Fields and even Mac Jones to some degree, I think we should keep an eye on who else Alabama & Ohio State bring to the table in the coming years

Hurts is playing very good football on a very good team. Fields is an incredible runner and mediocre passer on a bad team; we would be a playoff team with him. Hurts will probably end up as a long-term top 10 QB, Fields will probably not.

As someone who hates bears management, I hope they do that. Fields can’t throw in the league but Young can’t last in the league

If I’m a Bears fan, I’d want them to trade back and focus on OLine and a top WR this draft. Give JF this year with a better foundation, if he’s NG you have extra capital for next year plus a good foundation for the new QB to jump into.

*i like the mocks that have the Bears trading back 2X

Any QB who is running as a primary offensive option has a short shelf life. Basically running QB's are like RB's who don't know how to avoid the hard hits. The RB's have a short shelf life too but a few of them are either really good at avoiding the hard hits (Franco Harris, Walter Payton, Eric Dickerson, Curtis Martin) or just lucky.

It takes more than 2 seasons to learn to play QB in the NFL.

Being a successful QB is rare. The league gives up in young QBs very quickly and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
