Pass on the ps3 for now man honestly. Even me who is a big blu ray advocate is holding off. While the ps3 people who were praising it have all but disappeared because there is no good online play, no good games and just nothing except blu-ray movies (Which btw was my argument @ pre-launch T00t T00t) anyway, Just get a 360, join us online and have a blast. You won't regret it.

No, 60 fps is better. 60 frames per second is better than 30 frames per second because the more fps you have the smoother the game will run(less lag/jerking) and the more fps you have the better the game will run. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frame_rate

For now yes, but if you like certain types of games(Final Fantasy, Halo, etc.) just ask because the PS3 will soon be mastered by the lazy programmers and Madden 09 for the PS3 will most likely run at 60 fps(Madden 06 & 07 on 360 were at 30 fps). Even though it's doubled you still won't notice much of a difference since regular TV goes around 25 fps. Like I said if you like to play certain types(RPG, Sports, etc.) you might want to ask or look it up yourself cause the 2 systems have many games that are different.

2K5 was Vicks Dogs bollocks. You're right EA got scared and pulled the rug under 2K5s feet. I'd have to see this in the flesh before I bought it , it does look very 'cartoony'

As much as the system sucked, I think the Gamecube controllers were the best ever. They were just so well designed and fit so snuggly into the hand. They really didn't feel like you were holding a controller at all - mostly because of the deep grooves in the top/back buttons. 360 controllers, and the regular XBOX s-controllers are nice too (note, the "s-controller" not the huge original ones) I've never been a fan of the Play Station controllers, they aren't confortable at all - which is a major reason I switched from PS2 to XBOX and will never be getting a PS3.
kinda sorta. The Sega Dreamcast was the best and the XBOX copied it almost exactly except for the extra set of bumpers on top which they moved to a secondary Joystick and the Dreamcast had the Memoty slot built into it. Why thanks.... :beer:
HELL YEA!!! Dreamcast was the best system ever, the memory card into the controller was genius. It would have little pictures come up depending on what kind of game you were playing, and you could take it out and take it with you as a little mini-game type deal with certain titles.
