Rex interview on TMKS at 5:00 followed by Sanchez at 5:20. http://espn.go.com/new-york/radio/news/story?page=new-york/listenlive
MK: Does it baffle you that your D gave up 45 points? Rex: I've never been part of a D that's performed that badly. We stunk, were outschemed, etc.
Honestly, this needed to happen last night, the team needed a wake up call, now its up to them to get their shit straight, they to start playing to their strengths, or this final stretch is going to be heartbreaking. I believe we can do it, but when it seems that we constantly have the same problems over and over for many years it gets frustrating, but I believe we can rebound from this. This may have been a blessing, I'm glad the Pats tried to run up the score, they needed this.
Just heard Braylon Edwards on ESPN 1050. Wow. He said he wants to stay with the Jets, AND wants number 10(Santonio Holmes) to be on the other side...for a long time. he said he thinks the Jets can work it out/
Opie from Opie and Anthony is a fan. Recent tweet http://twitter.com/OpieRadio/status/26802333291642881 I dont listen to the show much lastly. But ive heard them take maybe 5 minutes after a big game and talk about the Jets. Nothing more than that.
enjoying listening to Joe Namath on 1050 this afternoon !! Great stuff from the great Joe Namath !!! Now listening to Big Jenks !!!
Yeah, these two young guys are weak, 1050 lacks in midday until Tierney and Mac comes on. I used to not like Mac but he's better than a lot of who is on now.
If you're a Knicks and/or Jet fan especially. You don't have to hear about Andy Pettitte or Carlos Beltran all winter.
I prefer Steve Sommers b/c he is funny as hell, but if we are talking straight sports talk - I Agree w/this if we are just talking lame terrestrial radio. Mac & T do a very nice job and they are way better than the other straight talk sports formats. Joe & Evan are embarrassing, fatty is a complete disastah, Kay is decent and he gets good guests but he is somewhat irritating. Sirius NFL - Moving the Chains w/Pat Kirwin & Tim Ryan is the best NFL show period however.
Mike Pettine on NFL SIRIUS Right Now ! Awesome discussion of transition from Jim Leonard and how it took time to transition from that injury.
Michael Kay is one of the most painful announcers i have ever heard. Open mouth, remove existing foot, replace with other foot, repeat process for 9 innings and post game. Homer and whammy thrower extraordinaire.
