Yes, I saw those two games. They were road games, right? And the Jets backs are up against the wall! If the Jets lose this game, stick a fork in 'em! The Jets cannot lose this game! It's a "Man-Up or Lose" game! And the Jets are at home! And the Bills are a bad team! And the Jets are a good team! So the Jets are going to win BIG! (Or else!) Let's go Jets!!!
I put this in another thread but it needs to be repeated. Get on board with this playoff run or stop watching the Jets. 9-5 and people are saying we "suck". Do you realize how its like to be a Chiefs, Chargers, Texans, Jaguars, Raiders, BILLS, Browns or Bengals fan. AND thats just the AFC. Oh POOR you. Get real. Lets Go JETS!
If the team that showed up today is the one we finish the season with, even if we make the playoffs, we'll be one and done. Our defensive gameplanning is "questionable" and on the offensive side? We'll continue to struggle against the good teams. Overall, we have to somehow, find a way to stay within ourselves. Gameplan for which team the '08 Jets really are and ADJUST when things stop working..
I agree we looked pretty crap in multiple aspects of the game. BUT this is a team that beat the Titans and the Pats on the road. So as a fan, why wouldn't you still be pumped up right now about winning and bettering our chances of getting in the playoffs. You never know. How many people had the Giants winning the SB heading into week 15 and 16 last year?
I suffer from Manginitis. That is, I don't get too high or too low over anything Jets. 40 years of watching this team will do that to a person. Get pumped over a defense that can't rush the passer? Not me. Get pumped over a offense that can't put an opponent away by simply running out the clock? Sorry... Get pumped over a CS that for some strange reason, always gives the other team opportunities to win games? Not in the post season pal. This team might make the playoffs but the idea here is to win the Lombardi, not simply make the playoffs. Not to say after 4-12 making the playoffs is bad, but that is to say this team is not playing up to its potential. As such, I'm glad we lucked out today but a convincing win it wasn't.
This thread has a gay title, I agree. But it worked last time to beat the Bills. So maybe it will work this time to beat the Dolphins. J E T S!
