Harbaugh is a quarterback guru. I'm not surprised that Smith is doing a decent job with his coaching.
Both Harbaugh brothers are brilliant coaches. I'm so, so happy that the Dolphins couldn't bring Jim in to replace Sparano (and that the Ravens chose John over Rex, for that matter.)
How ironic that Michael Crabtree is struggling to produce in this offense while the QB that he insulted is performing better than expected.
I'm just gonna go ahead and say I never once doubted the kid could become a serviceable QB once he had a coach who knew what to do with him. Not that that makes him worthy of the #1 pick (I was flabbergasted when the 49ers passed Rodgers, a local guy).
it makes you wonder how many high draft picked QBs in this league were casualties of unstable coaching and personnel support. Kudos for Harbaugh sticking with Alex Smith before the offseason.
