dude i been reading a lot of the forums lately working 3rd shift, i think your a smart guy and stuff, but i think thats stupid. No offense, if you already have a 7 point lead with your td and you get the extra point you have the magic 8. Let them work for a 2 point converistion if in fact they score a touch down. its a risk not worth taking.

I remember years ago Collinsworth rooted for the Jets as an NFL analyst when all the others wouldn't. I gave him props for that. He is from Florida and played for the University of Florida so yeah he probably does have a bias for Miami. I like Collinsworth and I absolutely detest Madden so I'm glad he's gone. But I do agree the game was not called well tonight.
I used to love to watch games with the TV sound off and the radio on with Wichusen making the calls Unfortunately with Cable and HD and delays and whatever the TV feed is now something like 5 seconds behind the radio feed making this enjoyment impossible
It took them till the middle of the 2nd qtr. to mention Revis, never mentioned our best pass rusher in Pace or the loss of Jenkins and the fact that we get back Holmes in week 5. Collinsworth sounded so depressed on the Edwards big 3rd down catch on the last drive I thought he was gonna cry. If the Jets did something right, it's what Miami did not do, if the Dolphins did something right, it's what Miaimi did. He is a NY hater and a Jet hater. OMG yes it is. I can't stand sitting there and listening to Harrison and Dungy make stupid comments. Its nauseating. How many times did Rodney say I was wrong? Obviously he doesn't know what hes talking about so he needs to shut the hell up.
The commercials, faux concerts and unnecessary banter just kill me when watching such games. It's the reason why I normally record the games on the DVR, let the system get ahead of me by at least 45 mins, and cut out each/every piece of useless shit in the broadcast.
Listening to Al Michaels last night was like reading USA Today for "in-depth" Jet insights. The guy is 'national' media who doesn't really have a handle on the Jets other than superficial Associated Press type stuff. Besides his sutble bias, Michaels didn't offer much more beyond generalizations (and the predictable swipes) regarding the Jets while trying to paint Rex Ryan as some sort of buffoon. That said, Michaels did finally show a pulse when Rex dumped the Gatoraide on Taylor at the game's end. As for Collingsworth, maybe he's still smarting from the Jets recent beatdowns of his Bengals, but who knows and who cares? I'll take a win even if it comes with 2 haters in the booth any day of the week. Nice goin' Jets.
