Al Micheals is fine. Collinsworth is horrendous. They should let Tony Siragusa in the booth w/al. That would be much livelier. These guys sounded like they were at a wake for 3 quarters. Zero chemistry b/w collinsworth and Micheals. Collinsworth has a bizarre habit of thinking its his job to make up excuses for why the other team blew it or why the officials blew a call. Not sure why he thinks he is supposed to make up excuses, but he certainly loves to do it. His voice is also grating to say the least. I would take a drunken elderly pat summerall as a color commentator over collinsworth every day of the week.
Fox has Sam Rosen. He is one hell of a broadcaster. Always neutral, doesn't put his own bullshit out there like the others do
Yeah, they are all over the place. I know a guy who lives closer to Tampa than Miami and he chose the Dolphins. I'm thinking, though, that the Titusville area gets more Bucs coverage than Dolphins. It's kinda like where I live. Three NFL teams get covered in the local paper, but the Jets and Giants get a tad more coverage than the Eagles. Anyway, does anyone know if Collinsworth was actually a Dolphins fan as a kid? In thinking about this further maybe he was. I think 1981 was his rookie year, so he was probably born in 1959. The Dolphins came into existence when he was seven and the Bucs when he was 17.
So true......Dungy cant look at camera while talking. Harrison looks like a shrunken version of his former playing days (roids).....and my apologies but who is the main commentator patrick?? The show is something you would say on public service channels
Did you purposely misspell sasquatch? If so, that is great. Also, cool avatar. Also, are you related to bat fka pidgeon?
I drown the announcers out for the most part. I'm usually too busy going apeshit or reading the game thread between plays.
The things they were saying when the Jets were on the 1 yard line with 2 minutes left in the game were among the stupidest things I've ever heard from an announcing team. The Jets were up by 1 and the Dolphins had two time outs left and they were waffling back and forth between the Jets taking a knee and the Dolphins letting the Jets score. And then Michaels talked about Ryan going for two if the Jets scored a touchdown. It was completely moronic and embarrassing to listen to.
I wanted the two for a 9pt lead. Put the nail in the coffin. Sanchez or LT could get it done. I'm confident in things like that.
Yeah, kinda. I drunkenly scrawled that into a box pool many years ago and it stuck. Thank you, and no
AMEN! I've been getting torched on another thread for saying the same exact thing ... but with our D being as gassed as it was ... and with Henne shreading our secondary ALL NITE long ... the last thing I wanted was Miami with the ball and the game still in reach.
