Mediocrity doesn't get you to the postseason 4 times in 6 years.

Talent wise no but they got the job done, the best teams don't always win which is why herm did a better job than vermeil did. Both teams were similar but '06 made it and '05 did not.

Cincy was just getting ready for the playoffs, they had clinched before their game w/ Buf the wek before an after winning 4 staright thye lost to telowly Bills at home. If Cincy was playing for something they would have eaten the Chiefs b/c the Chiefs always lost meaningful games in those years.

The conf was more top heavy, it wasn't stronger and they didn't make it b/c they couldn'tmanage a back to back against medicore teams Dallas and NYG.

At leats they lost to the evntaul World Champs on the road.

The comparison is silly b/c the weren't competing fo the same playoff spot. The only reason Cle made it was b/c their div stunk.

Whre did i say Hicks in 2005? i said Hicks in his prime?

I have nothing against Vermeil but he did a poor job w/ KC. he had talent to win there and made just 1 postseason appearance. This is more about what Herm has done and is doing than what vermeil did. This all started when the fans that hated Herm(I wonder how he's looking now?) were crowing bout what he was doing in KC and how the KC fans wanted im gone but KC is now tied for 1st.

I like mangini(even thouh he's done a brutal job this year i still think he'll be better in the long run), this is not about brining Herm back. I thought he left at the right time, this was about the usual crew bashing Herm again.
