Wow, I was something of a McCarron supporter but he got EXPOSED tonight. Crumbles under pressure. After that performance I would be surprised if he gets taken before the 4th round.

He would be a decent pickup in the 4th or 5th round. Definitely shouldn't be touched in the 2nd or 3rd, though, after that game.

After watching him last night I wouldn't take him in 8th rd if he was available.

My observations from last night game, pure and simple is that he might be smart, but has no pocket presence, he crumbles under pressure, he is not as football savvy as Manziel, not even close, can not avoid the rush nor read blitzes. He would not be remotely an upgrade nor competition to Geno or to Sanchez. He would be a disaster behind our current OL in an NFL game.

    Pass...let's look elsewhere

earlier i was hoping for a.j. Now i want no part of him. tends to throw off the back foot alot especially on deep balls. i hate qb's who do that shit. Rather take a shot at mettenberger in the 4th or 5th rnd.

I think Garoppolo would be a good pick up with the second pick in the 3rd. Not sure if he is going to rise of the draft boards or if some teams will shy away since he played in the FCS.

He did have a great quote which made me like the kid immediately.

This guy is just a taller version of McElroy with a hot girlfriend, he will be drafted somewhere in the fourth round or fifth round if he doesn't have an amazing pro day.

THIS! I cannot believe all the Alabama haters on this site. A.J. McCarron has proven himself over and over again while playing at Alabama. In his 4 years he threw for 9,019 total passing yards, 77 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He won 1 SEC Championship (Georgia) and 2 National Championships (LSU and Notre Dame), and as a starter he went 36-4. All of this done in arguably (and I know you will all argue that point, but remember which conference is home of the last 6 BCS Champions) the best conference in the nation. As for words like "chicken" and "arrogant"... just how childish can some of you get? And, please don't let the Jets draft McCarron in any round, he will only be wasted here and not given a chance by the fans on this site.

    Rant over...
