Bradshaw would be good on a 1 year deal, I don't think Greene is the long term answer and Bradshaw would perform better than Greene in the in between time before we get a long term answer at RB.
Of course.. he is still butt hurt over the fact the Jets made him look stupid for explaining they didn't CONFIRM the fire of the O-line Coach fire
just venting but I'm tired of this "well if he comes for cheap" garbage that's always over these threads. or the "if he plays for the vet minimum." "if he signs the perfect cheap incentive laden contract with no guaranteed money, I would love him here!" no shit guys.
ur name should be "I'M A DOUCHE" i love that "...then we don't want him here" tough talk...hahaha like the jets can actually make demands! and i'm sure bradshaw would be crushed being turned down by u guys...what's next being turned down by jacksonville? nice ebonics u speak tho : )
Though Bradshaw could be a nice option at RB as a nice change of pace back . I could imagine if we start winning and all we hear from Giants fans is you startd winning because you have an ex Giant on your team
Who the hell cares what Giants fans say? All I care about is winning. If an ex-Giant can help us win then I'm all for it. Greene is not the answer. If Bradshaw doesn't get the big contract elsewhere and we can get him reasonably cheap then go for it. Use the draft for the other gaping holes like o-line and linebackers.
I'm not a college guy but I'd really like to see us get a kid out of the draft that can come in and make a contribution rather then tying up $ in a older stop gap player that will take a roster spot, and probably wind up injured for a few games. If we had the $ to sign a Reggie Bush that would be ideal. He's a guy that we could use to build for the next few years, but a guy like Bradshaw is too much of a ? health wise. Personally, I'd like to see us go after that kid that was cut by the Steelers for that domestic incident. I don't know if he's got good hands but he's a speedster, and would probably come cheap.
He is only 26 years of age, but he's got too much wear and tear. Bernard / Lacy, Powell, McKnight is way more intriguing set, and not to mention cheaper too! He could prob ask for 2 or 3 mil a season. I don't see the Jets paying for that
He's just doing a Posada, trying to use the other NY team to get back with the current team. He has no interest in the Jets
the jets are probably looking to sign a veteran running back, despite what manish said they are probably at least considering the option. it all depends on his rehab and how strong he looks coming into the season. isnt he in a leg cast right now or something? its great that hes interested, and im sure the front office is keeping that in mind, but i wouldnt expect them to go all out to bring the guy in.
