Yep, 2 long TDs on punt returns, a 98 yard INT return by Chris McAllister for a 14 point swing, a safety, and a visibly upset Al Groh flailing his fists around in frustration after the 2nd punt return TD. That's game all right - and Christmas Eve.....
Not true. It was a win and in game for the Jets. A win put the Jets in the playoffs, but that was far too much pressure for Vinny to handle. I think he had 5 turnovers that day - 3 picks and 2 fumbles and 2 of the picks were returned for TDs and two more TDs came on punt returns. That was a horrible horrible game.
