Kotex was Hesses gofer. Kotex nose was so far up Hesses ass that you would need locking pliers to disengage his nose from Hesses ass. That is how he got the HC job cause Hess gave no shit about winning only pleasing those that he felt were his friends

Hess also brought in both Dick Steinberg and Bill Parcells. Steinberg was a high quality GM who got sick, no fault of Hess's. Hess wasted no time in unsaddling himself from Kotite.

LOL! That's right--Rich "the plumber's assistant " Kotite was almost immediately hired by the jets after the Eagles fired him. Never mind the fact that Kotite had lost his last 7 in a row with the eagles. For all those "worried" that Rex might be snapped up by another team, let's keep in mind that Mark Sanchez will likely be available on the open market too. I am sure Rex and his tattoo will lobby the new organization to pick up Sanchez because according to Rex the wonder dog "Mark gives any team the best chance to win." If the jets keep Rex and his Sanchez tattoo one more year, the rest of the NFL will laugh about as hard as they did when the jets snapped up Kotite when he had no other offers.

there is no way Rex goes back to being a DC - anyone outside of Jets fans can see what a good job he has done with this franchise given the lack of talent on the team - you don't think the Texans would give him a job in an instant?

Not worried about him being a DC for another team. He's very easy to figure out. Look at all of the big plays and uncovered receivers and the success of opponents on third and long. And that's with plenty of top rated draft picks over the years he's been head coach. If we have a smart new coach he knows about Rex's tendencies and like most of the others can exploit them.
