supposed rex doesn't stay - u are looking at a wholesale changes in defensive philosophy and who knows a vanilla 4-3, cover 2 scheme.

not saying thats bad - the giants won with a basic 4-3 and studs alond the D line.

about pace - he has had a nice season - kudos to him and he surely benefitted from the play of wilk and richardson. IMO that position needs to be upgraded.

i don't think a alot of resources needs to be put into the lb corp this year. maybe a late round draft pick and some udfa trying to find a diamond in the rough. but barnes pace and coples would be ok considering the other needs we have on both sides of the ball. i don't see where it could be upgraded without usingcap space or a higher draft pick that might be more beneficial at another position

This will make the Draft interesting this coming year. If someone like Mack is there in the first or Van Noy in the second its hard to pass up that Value unless a true stud if left for the passing game.

    Are you illiterate?

I never said he is possibly the greatest of all time. I said he was "high in the ranks". That is completely different than claiming the best of all time

And point out to me again where I said he was the best in the NFL?

The way you said that implies that he "could" be the best of all time. You didn't say he definitely wasn't "the best of all time", you said he "may" not be, and then proceeded to say that he is high in the ranks, which would then have him in the conversation as the best DC of all time.

You didn't say he was the best in the NFL explicity, but saying he was one of the top DCs of all time would definitely have him at or near the top now, and others have claimed that he was the best in the NFL now. My response was aimed at all of you who I think are overrating Rex.

He's not illiterate, he's trolling. I'm guessing just like Sg3 being back under a new name this is another returning poster with an ax to grind

He has certainly been helped by the Sons of AnarQy, but it has been nice to see him having a productive season. He deserves some of the credit. I can't wait to see a healthy Coples next season. Our front 7 is gonna be very scary. Even more so than this season.

I get a kick out of, all the response's, "I didn't want him to go" LOL, it was pretty unanimous, that Pace should be sent packing last year, now he's got 9 sacks, the love is flowing, Jets fans are so bipolar, lol

We still need an elite edge pass rusher

This is 1 of the many dilemmas that face Idzik in the upcoming offseason as well as the draft.
Can we get away with another OLB position patchup season with Pace on the cheap & using our draft picks & FA money on other positions?
Khalil Mack will most likely be picked in the top 10. I've heard KVN's name a lot, but I'd rather lean towards better value with Trevor Reilly in the 2nd or Michael Sam with our projected TB early 3rd rounder --- if we are still considering OLB.
