For cap reasons I'm leaning to no, but if he does come back I'll not be gutted.

Just because there might not be a great QB out there doesnt mean we have to bring Favre back.

Favre is who he is. At the age of 40 I have a hard time seeing him change. I would think this Offense is going to be a ball control offense. I dont see him fitting that.

Give Ratliff or Clemens a shot and bring in Leftwich for competition.

The idea that you guys have that there is some better option than Brett is just stupid. Sure…Ratliff is the answer after those three passes to and against players that are now carpenters and bus drivers.

What - pick up that homo Garcia or that perennial loser Letwich? Forget it – Brett is fine; he just needs to be used in the right capacity.

Leftwich? Grossman? Garcia? Ouch. Favre better come back if those are the alternatives. I still believe Clemens would have to be the fall back if Favre does not come back. Those others names just suck.

honestly, he's the best option the Jets have. he's still a top tier QB when healthy, especially if he actually knows the playbook.

I absolutely want him back, he's Brett Favre. Look what he did when he was healthy, we were 8-3 and on our way to the SB. Then he got hurt and it all fell apart, if he wants to play, you let him.

I don't want him back. I can't remeber the stipulations of the trade; If we were to release him, what are the repercussions. I know we lose multiple #1's if we trade him to a team in the NFC north. I just can't remeber any stipulation as far as us releasing him. Of course, who would have thought that there would be talk of that after only 1 year.

Nope, he is exciting, but we need our excitement on defense, and ball control on offense,

After a month, some people went back to Favre. After the season it was 85 to 15 NO, now its more 61-39 NO.

Only if they force him to run laps around the field on game day if he throws a pick

i voted no because i dont want to go into next offseason doing this all over again. i'd rather have a young guy (or two) play this season and have game experience even if that means a losing record.

The Jets success will depend on Defense and running the ball. At this point I would welcome Erik Ainge over Favre let alone Clemens or Ratliff.
