If you guys are going to be friggin fans root for your dam team and stop saying they (Colts) will win. Jets 27 Colts 23.
jets: 31 colts: 21 or jets: 28 colts:31 If the jets can keep a two score margin by end of 4th quarter, Indy will end up making a critical turnover in the last 5:00. If its a one score game it could go really go either way and it will come down to a terrifying drive by Manning similar to the Steelers game.
27-21 Jets. The last Colts touchdown is scored within last 5 minutes of 4th quarter. They scare the living shit out of us fans as usual for those 5 long regulation minutes but the defense holds.
i don't think this will be a close game and I hope I am right. I think the jets can really exploit the Colts defense in the first half and just set them up for a second half of running and play action. I don't think this will be a close game come the 4th quarter. The Colts on offense are all pass and with the improved secondary it should make for a long day for manning. Jets by 14 or more.
These scores that have the Colts scoring less than 20 are hysterical. If the Jets win, they need to put up over 28.
Jets 7 Colts 6 Game starts off with a 98 yard kickoff return by Brad Smith. Manning gets sacked and injured and is forced to leave the game. No offense shows up for the Jets. Rex and Schotty get into a heated argument on the sidelines. Painter can't throw the ball and the jets defense stops any run effort by the colts. However, on one drive, the jets experience a SOJ defensive collapse but the colts are unable to score in the redzone and settle for a FG. The same thing happens again in the 4th quarter. Colts are almost in FG range but the game ends with an Eric Smith interception with seconds remaining.
This is the team a good percentage of our off season additions were designed to beat, IMHO. We'll cruise through Indy with a 31-13 win, and on to the next victim, because Rex and Tanny are geniuses.
Well, here we go again. I'll start by saying that if the Colts had Collie & Dallas Clark playing, we'd be royally f*cked. They would do the same thing the Patriots did when they smoked us and put up 45. Spread the field with 4 or 5 wide (Wayne, Garcon, Collie, Clark, White/Tamme/Addai) and take advantage of the mismatches. We don't have legitimate depth. Fortunately, Clark & Collie are out. But....White & Tamme still pose a problem, as Manning can throw to a garbage pail and eek out positive results. I believe we can do it. There will be big plays by Indy's offense, but we must limit them. They will get to the red zone, but he have to hold them to FGs. I made this exact statement before last years game. If Rex goes into this game thinking he can use a blitz happy scheme against Manning, he has literally gone insane. He could have went for 400 yards if the Colts didn't kindly run the ball 3 times in the red zone and settle for the FG. Offensively, Sanchez needs to show up. That's it. Our running game won't be too effective, especially with the crowd noise which provides motivation for that line. Add in the fact that the Colts have been uncharacteristically good against the run recently. Another important matchup is Cromartie on Garcon. I'm not sure if Cro is the best match up for a physical receiver like Garcon. If Garcon starts doing significant damage, then we're in big, big trouble. Ball control offense by the Jets will win this game. However, if the offense starts spuddering at points throughout the game, gives the ball back to Manning more & allows him enough possessions to figure out our defense early, this could get freakin' ugly in Indianapolis. I still like our chances though. But like last year, Rex and his defensive gameplan is worrying me.
