I was actually more nervous about the Patriots possibly not winning the AFCE after week 1 than I am now, interestingly enough. It's clear that both teams have their issues, but I'm still holding out hope that the Jets week 1 offensive explosion was a flash in the pan...

Yeah why wouldn't we have a chance? It's just not a very good chance if both teams are healthy and look the same

The difference is we'd be 2-0 and actually ahead of them in the standings heading into a very winnable game to possibly go 3-0 while they have a tough match up and it's possible that they lose that game and go 1-2. If we're 3-0 and the Pats are 1-2 then that's a pretty big lead we have, especially considering two would be wins within the division. Not insurmountable for the Pats to overcome by any means at all but it would have been a pretty strong position to start from.

The Pats lost their home opener in like forever to a much weaker team...that can't be explained away. The Pats of new are NOT the Pats of old.

Whether or not the Jets, Bills, or Phins can nut up and take advantage of a 'possibly' weaker Pats team and yoink the division title is yet to be seen.

But, the Jets beating Miami this week puts us on top of the division going into week 4.

    Just sayin.....

The Arizona Cardinals, for all the crap they're given with their QB situation, have won 9 of their last 11 games.

    Just sayin'.

While op's post is absolutely absurd, we do have a chance to make some noise in the division (2-0 division record if we beat Miami), especially if Baltimore beats NE

me thinks the ravens do in fact beat NE which kinda puts the jets into the early drivers seat......

trouble is the wheels being driven may fall off at any time.

8-8 would be a stretch for us this season...the tebow circus, the coaching staff not having an idea of how to gameplan...against Pitt we targeted santonio so many times..why? Because we faced Pitt...great gameplan! Stephen hill barely targeted..maybe once....Rex defensive genius only goes as far as Revis...that was evident against Pitt. Without Revis our defense is exposed...Shonn Greene is one of the worst backs in the league...cannot make a guy miss whatsoever...he needs to sit and be replaced by powell maybe to give the run game some sort of jolt...AFC east isn't up for grabs...generally the pasts start slow lose a couple of games in the first 4 or 5 weeks then turn it on and judging how last year we weren't competitive with them, I don't see that changing this year.

    Pats 13-3
    Bills 9-7
    Jets 8-8
    Miami 6-10

^Are you going to be saying that Pats will be 13-3 after they drop to 1-2 this weekend?

If they lose to the Ravens, it evens out to our Steelers loss. We just have to beat the Cards to make it worthwhile. It would be quite nice to have a jump start on the division this year, especially the way the schedule is constructed. Of course it looks like a lot of NFCW teams are looking better this year, so we'll see.

No doubt. That's an important thing to consider.

Also, the Jets have picked a hell of a year to be playing the NFC West. They aren't a joke anymore. The Rams, Seahawks, AND Cardinals are probably a lot better than people think. Used to be people write these games off before they happen, but such doesn't seem like the case now. But the 49ers are looking like a top team in the league right now.

Stopping anyone named Bush in Florida is totally impossible. Just ask Al Gore. Gotta be a fixed game.

Pats may be the most vulnerable they've been in almost a decade, other than the Matt Cassel year. They don't just lose at home to Kevin Kolb in a normal year.

The Jets have to prove they can take advantage of it...

The difference really is we lost to a team that was fav by 5.5 at there house. The Pats lost to a team that they where fav by 13.5 so really we where not suppose to win and the Pats where not suppose to lose at there house. Have u seen any of the Pats games this year? If u had u would see they just don't look like the old Pats.
