Wow dude you havn't kept up with our offseason at all. No wr's? Lee Evans ring a bell my friend? We also have Chad Jackson and plenty of potential in James Hardy (who will take over the #2 spot this year) and Stevie Johnson who i expect to be the slot receiver and he has made plays when given the oppurtunity.

Our horrible QB play was due to our horriible coaching by Jauron and playcalling. Edwards as always done what he's asked to do under the dickless Jauron system. Gailey is good with QB'S and i expect him to have Edwards return back to that 08 form.

As for the offensive line, hard to argue that. But in our defense we did start 3 players with no experience including 2 solid rookies in Wood and Levitre. They will only improve with experience. Also keep your ears open, there is a rumor that we may be trading for Gaither from the Ravens for next years 2nd round pick. If we get him our O-line will be solid and much improved from last year.

As for our defense, if you payed attention to the second round of the draft you would see that we picked up Torell Troupe, massive body that loves the contact that is involved in the NT position, look for him to start with Kyle Williams rotating. Troupe will be our starter at NT for the next 10 years, dude is going to be a beast.

Sounds like your jealous of the Spiller pick, good luck with your all out blitzes this year. Dumpoffs to Spiller for 6 all game!!!!!!!! By the way Nix was drafting BPA in the first round. Plus we now have a top 3 backfield in the NFL.

I'll have to get into this Thomas Jones thing another time, huge mistake in getting rid of him, but great for us :)

I'll make it simple for you. LT is not replacing Thomas Jones. Shonn Greene is replacing Thomas Jones. LT is going to be his back-up.

Is this a real post? Or was someone just posing as a Bills fan on here as a funny joke?

Chan Gailey is a failed coach, and is not much of an upgrade on Jauron. Lee Evans is a good receiver, yes.. but he's not a true #1 and after him there is absolutely nothing.

The best part though, was jealous of drafting a 3rd down back in the top 10 and that the Bills are gonna just get easy screens for TD's to him all game. Priceless.

That's a little misleading. Should read "other Jets outside linebackers combined." David Harris did his fair share of damage.

And this isn't a Colts defense, where we're expecting our sacks to come from two positions and two positions only. There's no way Taylor notches 15 this season. No way. But we'll sack the quarterback much more often because of his presence.

Umm im well aware of your RB's. Thomas Jones and Leon Washington for that matter was a perfect combo and you let them BOTH go. But hey if Rex and company think Greene is the answer, we'll see. And LT is a good God-fearing team player so i think he'll be a servicable backup for you guys for a season or 2, but he's nothing to be scared about anymore.

Thomas Jones was extremely overrated. He just had the luxury of running behind the best offensive line in the league. Rarely broke tackles or gained yards after contact. Plus he was no receiving threat. His best attribute was that he was able to handle 20+ carries every game and never got hurt.

ask every DB in the game and they will tell you Evans is a top 10 receiver. Thats why he is DOUBLED EVERY game and he still has put up great numbers despite inconsistent QB play and crappy playcalling during the Mauron era.

And saying Spiller is a 3rd down back or Reggie Bush type player shows your ignorance to the game of football. He runs in between the tackles with the best of them and has a 40 time just as fast as Chris Johnson's. Three is a reason why madden 11 already has him at a 97 speed. I'll have to come back when we play our first game to accept your apology on this matter.

I have to admit it: this is a terrific post.

I'm really glad you joined the board, BP. We used to have a poster here by the name of Raiderjoe who wasn't afraid to call it as he saw it, but he doesn't post much lately.

You seem up to the task! Keep up the insight!

I don't think Bills fans really have too many options when it comes to arguing for their team.

I do plan to hear fans of the Jets, Pats and Fishes opinions every once in awhile if i dont get banned. But im not hear to talk trash or throw insults, i come with respect and to talk football. This seems like a good small board.

I was just trying to show you of what Spiller's speed is like and everyone is familair with madden so...Trust me, you'll see and have to deal with his speed twice a year. Im interested to see how our offense matches up with your defense this year, it will be a good test for our young offense.

You're interested to see how Trent Edwards, a shitty o-line, a shitty receiving corps and no tight end matches up against the best defense in the league? To each his own I guess.

Are you that ignorant to every other team in the NFL but your own? Be a little humble my friend, your defense if good but it isn;t teh best in the league.

When this Gaither trade is complete we will have a top 5 LT and i would say a slightly above average 0-line and MUCH improved from last year. Gaither, Levitre, Hangman, Wood, Bell would be our line. We have a tight end, a great one in fact in Shawn Nelson. He's been playing just as good as Keller has. and our "poopy" receiving corp always seems to do well when we play against you guys. And before last year you guys had one of the worst WR corps in teh league for the past decade so lets not get into that...

We were ranked number #1 in the stats department...and every pundit you could think of said we were the number 1 defense. Also, this offseason we only got better defensively.

Of course we're the best defense in the league.

That was last year, you know when you had a running game to control the clock. But I'll just save this talk for September. Heck Buffalo was ranked 2nd against the pass last year? why? because we were 30th against the run....However i think with the switch to the 34 and a veteran like Davis added at LB, our defense is right on par with yours. We already have probably the best secondary in the league.

I doubt DB's would say Lee Evans is a top 10 receiver to be honest. The reason he gets doubled is because the rest of the receivers, and offense in general, sucks so much. Like I said, he's very good I'm not saying he's not, but top 10? Doubtful.

And Spiller has not shown he can handle a full load or run between the tackles, I don't know why you think that? He was always banged up in college and coming off the field. And his 40 time was NOT as fast as Chris Johnson. He's a good player and I see him being similar to Reggie Bush, which I don't think is worth a top 10 pick. His speed in Madden means nothing to me, btw.

Just so mind-boggling that you would even think that.. I admire your faith in your team, but man oh man..

And the fact their pass D was only so good because teams just ran at will. Not to say they have a bad pass D, but a lot of times those numbers aren't indicative of how good a team actually is. Obviously, that's not always the case.. just look at the Jets who were #1 in most categories last year.
