i thought so at first, and I think he did, but you need indisputable evidence. From what I saw I don't think that was available from any camera angle since it was under the pile. If was one of those funny situations where the call that was made on the field matters in whether the call gets over turned or not.
Two observations so far. Todd Sauerbrun has huge arms (thanks to steroids) A Colts fan had a "Your Dead Pats" sign. 1) that's a little over the top 2) is should be "you're", not "your"...you'd think you'd have somone proofread your sign if you were hoping it would get on national tv.
In my opinion the offense should never be able to advance the ball on a fumble. It should always go back to the spot of the fumble.
I am openly rooting for the Colts, some clapping is involved. I'm going to need a long shower after this game.
While I see your point in baseball I think there are alot more players available to help bad teams get good quick. While there may be different champions every year you can bet your dollar that the Yanks will be a playoff team every year , the Red Sox will be right behind them. Baltimore and Toronto while able to spend money simply have no shot because they can't spend enough to beat New York and Boston. Yeah it's great that Milwaukee can play .500 baseball but they still can't compete with the Cards or Astros. Even in baseball you have teams with lots of money that don't spend it , just look at the Twins (their owner has more money than Steinbrenner) and the Cubs and the Mariners (Nintendo owns them).Yet Seattle claims they don't have the resources to outbid the Sox for Matsuzaka. The Salary Cap gives teams like Green Bay and Kansas City to compete, it allows teams like the Saints to make the NFC title game. Lets he Rams go from 4-12 to SB Champs. I have always been for a penalty for teams that try to make a profit by not spending money ie Arizona , Houston. Owning an NFL franchise is a privelage it shoud be treated as such.
