The Steelers have a large contingent in the bars by where I live. Every football Sunday they're there in full force making the bar loud. Also, I've never seen anything like it in my life like when the terrible towels invaded Giants Stadium during the 2007 season. It may have been the most embarrassed I ever was to be a Jets fan, seeing more Steelers fans in the stadium than Jets fans. The Steelers fans definitely have a ton of pride in their team and from that perspective are an example to other fans. With that said, the Steelers fans sitting by me during the Terrible Towel Invasion were complete douchebags, and it was absolutely gold to watch the 4-12 Jets kick the shit out of the Steelers and send those stupid fans packing. Oh the crying on the way out of the stadium was priceless. Sorry SC, if more Steelers fans were like you I'd have more respect for them in general. However, you seem to be the exception from my experiences, not the rule.
The couple of steeler fans I know are cool but their other friends in yellow and black border on retarded.
Every team has passionate fans that make asses of themselves. Quite a few of my Steeler brethren are EXACTLY like me. Unfortunately you don't hear about the good you always hear the horror stories like Giants fans trashing an Eagles fans Porsche after the loss.
