Man if I thought people response to men hitting women was bad. I have a feeling this is going to be worst. Just reading people comments just makes me feel like I live in the twilight zone. I read the indictment charges, and that's not discipline. That's horrifying! His poor children. On top of everything I can't get over the fact that he had a child die after being abused. How after that he could use violence against a child is just so hard to fathom.

Sure, and why in an Adrian Peterson child abuse thread you felt compelled to announce "hey everybody, I'm playing a video game!"

I remember the old days when the Pats were "winning" Super Bowls. Their forums had a few Colts fans and they would trash Peyton Manning for ONLY winning division championships, the only thing that mattered was Super Bowls!

Oh how the times have changed.

Yeah. No grey area or wiggle room on this one. There is nothing a 4 year old can do to deserve that.

Don't give him what he wants.

Good for the Vikings for deactivated him. It's too bad the Panthers haven't done the right thing with Greg Hardy. Makes the Panthers owner crying seem even more stupid. He has the power to do the right thing.

Sign this beast! Seriously getting A.P on the cheap would be great while we wait for the truth/verdict to come out say... late in the year.

Wrong. This is perfect for Goodell. This gives his a fresh issue to move away/bury Rice while enhancing his image.
A big story like this is exactly what doctor ordered.

Bobby!!! This is NFL future we are talking about! They will make it blow up high to cover bad Rice handling with powerful handling of AP. I wouldn't be surprised is Goodell was more than willing to issue statement to the press on this issue via (very controlled) press conference.

If he bans A.P for two years he'll be seen as a hero.
If I'm a player in the NFL I won't even sneeze for two weeks.
