More from TMZ: "Sources connected to Peterson tell us (that) the alleged victim is a male child from Minnesota who was visiting (Peterson) back in May at the running back's Texas home. We're told the child returned home to his mother in Minnesota who noticed injuries and took the child to a doctor. A short time later, the doctor contacted authorities in Texas to report Peterson." NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports that Peterson's arrest stems from disciplining his son with a switch. This is turning out very interesting
Assuming the kid was disciplined for a good reason, what does his brother's death has to do with this?
The kid wasn't punished, he was injured, beaten, cut up, lacerated, bruised. Peterson needs his ass beat if true.....
If it's not his kid, he shouldn't have done it. You don't hit other people's children; you explain what happen to their parents and let them deal with it.
Dont have a link, Francesa just read the report. The report also says the kid was 4 years old, I dont know what the age is. I read 11, but Francesas article says 4, he said he thought it was 11.
If Tank is talking about it, the report must be there. I'll wait to read before passing the judgment.
I think he's another guy who has 6 kids in 6 different states with different women. So I wouldnt think the 11 year old had a relationship with his son that died last year. These guys are big enough scumbags for being deadbeat dads so Ive really stopped caring what they do and dont do in their personal life. There all grown men with minds of a 12 year old.
Tank probably got it from Deadspin, who got that info from: http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2014/09/12/adrian-peterson-indicted-for-child-abuse/
Its crazy though that this comes out, like talk about worst possible timing, now Goodells gunna face immense pressure to suspend him which he cant. Hell I dont think Goodell has time to suspend anyone, he might not even be the commissioner....if he gets suspended or steps down.
TMZ sports updated. Apparently it wasn't even his kid, and the child is 4 yrs old. They have the pictures. http://www.tmz.com/2014/09/12/adrian-peterson-indicted-for-child-abuse/
OT...How is Destiny? I am thinking of getting PS4 to play that game. Whats it like? What sort of game?
Fuck Peterson...You dont do that to someone else's child..Its like reckless driving as a athlete...Call car service...On this, call someone to take the kid back. Rich ass dumb mother fu***
IMO excessive, especially for 4 y.o. I do agree that this is abuse. I have no problem slapping my kids, but the rules are simple. 1. Must be for a good reason. 2. Must be a repeat offense, after previous talks as to why the deed is wrong and what will be consequences if happens again. 3. No long lasting marks, no more than a little redness. Certainly no skin lacerations. All I do is hand-slap them through whatever clothing they are wearing. Hard enough to hurt, but not hurt for longer than a couple of minutes. The basic concept is simple: I told you why it's wrong. I warned you about what will happen if you do it again. Now I'm just keeping my promise.
No he won't. he's one of the best pro athletes ever. That includes mental preparation. His son was murdered and he didn't even miss a game.
I think AP is going to get reamed by the PC press. It's going to be hard to watch as they try to destroy him. May G-d be with him.
