Agree about the throws ... but you couldn't be "wronger" about the pocket awareness. Bought time all day by stepping up in the pocket. Definitely saved three or four sacks because of good pocket awareness.
I honestly think he got a concussion from that hit and has been playing with the effects of it ever since. When they picked him up off the ground he looked like he was out on his feet for a bit. I think it's completely plausible. Mark's played through other injuries, so the kid is tough. Or maybe he tweaked that neck injury he had last year, which is also possible because the way his neck violently snapped to the side. That hit was one of the most brutal helmet to helmet hits I've seen on a QB.
No, the Phins are awful. Its the Jets that actually made them look legit. They will be lucky to win 3 games this year.
I think there might be something to his theory. Sanchez is a tough guy, in the sense that he plays through injuries and never makes excuses, but we've seen repeatedly that you can knock him off his game by knocking him around (past games against Denver, Baltimore, and New England come immediately to mind.)
Sanchez can take some hits, although he seems to take one too many. As others have mentioned, when he got his block rocked in the Steelers game, he did appear to fade. Yeah, a bad win is a bad win, but it's still a win. The offense looked terrible to me up until the second half, then things started clicking. Maybe a little bit more "oil" can get the gears moving, THEN we'll really see the jets in action. I'm still waiting for the day we play a full game of football again.
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Sunday's win against the Dolphins was the 11th time Sanchez has led the Jets to a 4th Qtr comeback or OT victory.
I disagree. I think they will win 6 or so games. They have good line play on both sides, that will win you games.
